  • If your accountant already works in Tally and your needs are mostly accounts and GST, Tally Prime is usually the easier choice.
  • If your business is stock-heavy, with many items and locations, it is worth seeing a BUSY demo before deciding.

Things to check before you buy

  • That the version supports GST e-invoicing and e-way bill if your business needs them.
  • Who will install it, import your old data and train your staff.
  • What support you get after purchase, and how quickly someone answers.
  • Renewal and update arrangements for the licence.

Switching later

It is possible to move your data from one to the other, but it takes careful checking. It is cheaper to choose well at the start.
